Welcome to the Department of Motor Vehicles Online Information Center. This Center's goal is to make it easier for you to find information you need to do business with us.  This goal reflects DMV's pledge to constantly improve customer service and fulfill its commitment to provide quality services to the public.

As Commissioner, I also want to make this information more helpful and I want to hear your comments about how we can improve. Your opinions will continue to help the DMV meet the needs of a changing state in which we bring services closer to you in your communities and provide you with technological innovation in those services.

Our Online Information Center is designed to offer easy access to general information, office locations and hours, fees, forms and applications, registration and licensing requirements, driverís manuals, sample driverís tests, vanity license plates, and other details necessary to make a visit to our office easier for you.

Teen drivers and their parents may find our Center for Teen Safe Driving especially helpful. It has many links, videos and podcasts related to 16-and 17-year-old driver licensing, the laws and driving restrictions that cover them, sample driving tests and many safety tips for young people learning to drive. The site also has video public service announcements on teen safe driving created by high school students around the state. They participated in the DMV's annual video contest, "From the Driver's Seat to the Director's Chair," designed to have teens talk to teens about safe driving.

DMV is always working to improve service and its online offerings. Please check back frequently to see updates and changes to our websites. If you have suggestions or comments for changes, please e-mail us. We hope the site is useful to you and makes your task easier when doing business with us.

Please drive safely and remember to buckle-up!

Thank you,

Melody A. Currey
