| Agriculture Commissioner Reviczky Announces Consignment of Rescued Horses |
| | (HARTFORD, CONN.) State Agriculture Commissioner Steven K. Reviczky announced today the upcoming sale of a group of rescued animals consisting of ten horses. The animals are consigned to the University of Connecticut’s Annual Spring Horse Auction and Tack and Equipment Tag Sale, to be held Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the UConn Horse Arena on Horse Barn Hill Road in Storrs. The sale preview will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the auction at 1:00 p.m. |

Reviczky today announced $2,000,000 in funding for farmland preservation through the Connecticut Department of Agriculture’s new Community Farms Preservation Program.
