Welcome to the home page of the State Contracting Standards Board (Board).  Our mission is to ensure that state contracting and procurement processes reflect the highest standards of integrity, are clean and consistent and are conducted in the most efficient manner possible.

Effective January 1, 2009 Connecticut General Statutes 4e-1 to 4e-47 creates an independent statutory Board.  For the past three years an Executive Order Board operated under the authority of Governor M. Jodi Rell’s Executive Order 7c.   The Executive Order Board met regularly to prepare for a smooth transition to the statutory Board.   Their work included developing recommendations for a training program, planning and communication, outreach, and data collection.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments. Thank you.
