CCT: Arts Learning: Connections and Correlations Category

ARTS LEARNING: CONNECTION & CORRELATION CATEGORY

 

The FY19 Arts Learning grant program (Connection & Correlation category) is now closed.  The deadline to submit was July 11, 2018.

 

The Connection and Correlation (CC) category is focused on PK-12 school day curriculum. The CC category is competitive and provides funding for an extension of Arts Access experiences that begin to make connections between arts experience(s) and PK-12 curriculum.  Projects engaging a teaching artist(s) MUST engage at least one (1) teaching artist from COA's Directory of Teaching Artists in the "Connecting/Correlating" or "Integrating" category.  Successful projects in this category will likely include professional development.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

  • PK-12 Schools and affiliated Parent Organizations
  • 501(c)(3) arts organizations seeking to provide a program(s) connecting to/correlating with PK-12 school day curriculum
  • Arts program of a 501(c)(3) non-arts organization seeking to provide a program(s) connecting to/correlating with PK-12 school day curriculum

    NOTE:
    The eligible applicants listed above may also apply for an Access grant.

INELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
Recipients of
Directed Local Funds (aka Line Items) and Regional Service Organizations are ineligible.

FUNDING
Connections and Correlations grant requests must range between $3,000 - $5,000
25% minimum cash match is required:  ($750 - $1,250)
Total project minimum: $3,750 - $6,250

FUNDING PERIOD
October 1, 2018 - September 30, 2019
