Dear Connecticut State Employee/Retiree,
Thank you for your generous support of the 2011 CT State Employees’ Campaign for Charitable Giving (CSEC). Your donations to last fall’s campaign helped to raise more than $1.5 million for hundreds of participating charitable organizations. Without your contributions these charities would not be able provide the vital services and programs that are needed in our communities.
Donations from state retirees topped $63,260, the highest total ever received in the history of retiree giving. We are grateful to retirees for their overwhelming generosity.
We also wish to thank each state agency coordinator and the thirteen loaned employees who were committed to promoting the campaign. It was because of their enthusiasm and caring spirit that awareness of the campaign was heightened during the fall months.
On behalf of the members of the CSEC Committee, and the hundreds of participating organizations, we extend our gratitude to the donors and volunteers who made the 2011 campaign a success.
