Attorney General


The Attorney General is the chief legal officer of the state. The Office of the Attorney General serves as legal counsel to all state agencies. The State’s Constitution and common law authorize the Attorney General to represent the people of the State to protect the public interest. The Office also investigates whistleblower complaints in conjunction with the State Auditors.
