  Effective 0001 hours, Sunday, December 4, 2016, there will be the following changes: the commercial landing limit for summer flounder will be 600 pounds per week, the commercial landing limit for black sea bass will be 300 pounds per week, and the commercial fishery for smooth dogfish reopens.   As of July 21, 5,562 pounds of smooth dogfish has been reported landed in Connecticut. When the Department estimates that 100% of the quota has been landed the smooth dogfish possession limit will be reduced to zero pounds. (N16-13)
