Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests
The Connecticut Freedom of Information Act gives you the right to obtain records and attend meetings of all public agencies with certain exceptions.
Freedom of Information Requests for documents from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (other than for Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) documents) under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act should be made using the "DEEP Make a FOIA Request" form.
Make a FOIA Request
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows you to request DEEP records that are not available on the internet or in our public file room. The process for making a FOIA request is easy; fill out the DEEP FOIA Request form
and submit it via email to DEEP.FOIA@ct.gov
