The General Permit for Contaminated Soil and/or Sediment Management was reissued September 20, 2013 for a period of five years. Current registrants holding registrations issued after September 12, 2011 will not be required to re-register, as such registrations will continue to remain valid until the date two years from the initial date of such registrations. Registrations issued prior to September 12, 2011 are now expired. Therefore, registrants holding such registrations must complete a new registration application and submit it along with the applicable fee to the Department on or before October 31, 2013 in order to maintain their authorization to manage contaminated soil or sediment under the authority of this General Permit. |
