• If you are a non-U.S. citizen, please see additional information .
• Proceed to the nearest DMV office or AAA location .  NOTE: AAA welcomes members and non-members for DMV services.
• NOTE: Individuals 65 years of age or older have the option of renewing their driver's license for two years.

• Your current license.
• Your renewal application form that you received in the mail.
• For customers choosing a "verified" renewal: Your required documents for a "verified" license through SelectCT ID Program.

• $66 renewal fee. See aacceptable forms of payment.
• $2 convenience fee for AAA customers ONLY. Fee must be paid by cash or check (made payable to "AAA"). 
• NOTE: Late fee of $25 will be charged for the renewal of an expired driver's license.
