DMV: Arrest Summary

ARREST SUMMARY -  Apr, May, June 2015
 

 

Motor Vehicle Inspectors made the following arrests.  The case status may be found on the CT Judicial Website.  (WPTA is a written promise to appear) General law enforcement activity related to commercial motor vehicles may be found in the Weigh Station reports.

 

June 26, 2015 Inspectors arrested Joshua Spencer, 29, of Meriden for operating an unregistered motor vehicle with a suspended license and 2 counts of repairing motor vehicles without a license in Wallingford. He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 26, 2015 Inspectors arrested Kerry Cassella, 47, of Wallingford for 2 counts of operating an unlicensed auto repair shop in Wallingford.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 25, 2015 Inspectors arrested Abimael Garcia-Rosado, 23, of Norwich for operating an unregistered car with a suspended license and improper exhaust on Rt. 2 in Colchester. He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 22, 2015 Inspectors arrested Jeaneve Eugene, 26, of Hartford for operating with a suspended license after he was stopped for not wearing a seat belt on Rt. 9 in Middletown. He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 19, 2015 Inspectors arrested Keith Stevenson, 49, of Waterbury for larceny 1st after they recovered a 2013 Lexus that was stolen from Georgia. Stevenson was arrested by warrant, processed and released on a $10,000 bond.

 

June 19, 2015 Inspectors arrested Sandy Santos, 37, of Lawrence, MA for reckless driving after he was clocked on laser traveling at 88 mph in a 65 zone while transporting passengers for hire on I-91 in Middletown.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 16, 2015 Inspectors arrested John Radack, 48, of New London for driving with a suspended license, illegal window tint and no front plate on I-95 in East Lyme. He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 11, 2015 Inspectors arrested Pablo Figueroa, 34, of Meriden engaging in the business of selling a motor vehicle without a license in Meriden. He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 9, 2015 Inspectors again arrested Thomas Nevue, 30, of Glastonbury for failure to furnish a motor vehicle title upon sale and false statement 2nd in East Windsor. Nevue was arrested by warrant, processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

 

June 4, 2015 Inspectors arrested Song Truong, 50, of Hartford for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop and an unlicensed recycler’s yard in Hartford.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 3, 2015 Inspectors arrested Clifton Graves, 54, of New Haven for title fraud and forgery 2nd in connection with a stolen Ford van in New Haven. He was arrested by warrant, processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

 

May 28, 2015 Inspectors arrested Luis Mellado-Huerta, 41, of West Haven for operating an unlicensed repair shop in New Haven.  He was released on a WPTA.

May 26, 2015 Inspectors arrested Fausto Dealba, 50, of Enfield for 10 counts of operating an unlicensed auto repair garage in East Windsor. He was released on a WPTA.

May 21, 2015 Inspectors arrested Jesse Nelson, 25, of Colchester for driving with a suspended license, unreasonable speed and fail to display a front license plate on Lake Rd. in Bozrah. He was released on a WPTA.

May 20, 2015 Inspectors arrested Michael Tu, 32, of Unionville for reckless driving and operating an unregistered motor vehicle after he was clocked traveling in excess of 95 mph on Rt. 5 in Wethersfield. He was released on a WPTA.

May 19, 2015 Inspectors arrested Thomas Nevue, 30, of Glastonbury for 13 counts of failing to perform vehicle safety inspections, 6 counts of failing to provide title upon vehicle sale, and 1 count of larceny 2nd.  Nevue, general manager of Central Auto Exchange in Plainville, was arrested by warrant after Inspectors received 8 complaints that Nevue allegedly took over $10,000 from customers for extended warranties but failed to forward the money to the warranty company.  He was processed and held at Bristol court on a $10,000 bond.

May 18, 2015 Inspectors arrested Brian Dupuis, 48, of West Suffield for forgery 2nd, false statement and reckless endangerment. Dupuis, owner of CT Car Company in East Windsor, was arrested by warrant after Inspectors received a complaint that he sold a car that was unsafe for use on Connecticut highways. He was processed and held at Enfield court on a $5,000 bond.  Dupuis is also facing other charges related to his car dealership from an arrest in November 2014.

May 15, 2015 Inspectors arrested Jose DeJesus, 23, of Vernon for operating an unlicensed repair garage in Enfield. He was released on a WPTA.

May 12, 2015 Inspectors arrested Jennifer Santiago, 30, of Waterbury for falsely reporting the theft of a motor vehicle, larceny 3rd and insurance fraud.  She was arrested by warrant, processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

 

April 28, 2015 Inspectors arrested Frank Westervelt, 45, of New Haven for larceny 3rd and criminal trespass 3rd in connection with a stolen box truck in West Haven. He was arrested by warrant, processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

 

April 10, 2015 Inspectors arrested Elliot Cheely, 33, of Waterford for driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle with misused markers and a suspended license on Rt. 2 in Norwich.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

April 4, 2015 Inspectors arrested Christine Leary, 37, of Wolcott for driving with a suspended license while talking on a cell phone in New Britain. She was released on a WPTA.
