ARREST SUMMARY - Sept, Oct, Nov '17
 

Motor Vehicle Inspectors made the following arrests.  The case status may be found on the CT Judicial Website.  (WPTA is a written promise to appear) General law enforcement activity related to commercial motor vehicles may be found in the Weigh Station reports.

 

November 29, 2017 Inspectors arrested Adam Pio, 38, of Southington for larceny 4th and larceny 5th.  Pio was arrested by warrant after Inspectors rec’d complaints against his car dealership, Farmington Auto Park in Plainville.  Pio was processed and released on a WPTA. 


November 17, 2017 Inspectors arrested Derek Bogner, 28, of Bolton for misuse of registration and towing an unregistered trailer on I-84 in East Hartford.  He was released on a WPTA.


November 16, 2017 Inspectors arrested Ariel Bruno, 46, of Hamden for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop in New Haven.  He was released on a WPTA.


 November 13, 2017 Inspectors arrested Dashua Torres-Jiminez, 18, of Springfield, MA and a 17 yr. old male for Larceny 3rd and conspiracy after they abandoned a stolen car on Rt. 9 in Cromwell and fled the scene on foot.  Inspectors took both into custody a short distance from the stolen car.  Torres-Jiminez was processed at Cromwell PD and then released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.  The 17 yr. old was referred to juvenile court.  


November 2, 2017 Inspectors arrested Raekwon Acoasta, 20, of Hartford for Title Fraud, False Statement and Larceny 3rd.  Acoasta was arrested by warrant after Inspectors rec’d a complaint of a stolen 2003 Infiniti.  Acoasta was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond, and he will appear in New Britain court on November 28.


October 26, 2017 Inspectors arrested Felix Burgos, 40 of Tolland for operating an unregistered motor vehicle with suspended license on Rt. 2 in Glastonbury.  He was released on a WPTA.


October 24, 2017 Inspectors arrested Kenroy Kenlock, 26, of Hartford for operating an unregistered motor vehicle with a suspended license and tinted windows on Rt. 305 in Windsor. He was released on a WPTA.


October 16, 2017 Inspectors arrested Caroline Gonzalez, 45, of Meriden for reckless driving after she was clocked traveling 88 mph on Rt. 15 in Orange.  She was released on a WPTA.


October 13, 2017 Inspectors arrested Fabian Rosa, 41, of Manchester for reckless driving after he was clocked traveling 100 mph in a posted 65 zone on I-84 in Manchester.  He was released on a WPTA.


September 27, 2017 Inspectors arrested Adam Pio, 38, of Southington for insurance fraud and larceny 3rd.  Pio was arrested by warrant after Inspectors rec’d complaints against Pio’s car dealership, Farmington Auto Park in Plainville.  Pio was processed and released on a WPTA, and he will appear in Bristol Court on October 16, 2017.

 

September 26, 2017 Inspectors arrested Destinee Cruz, 25, of Hartford for reckless driving and driving an unregistered car with a suspended license on I-91 in Cromwell.  She was released on a WPTA.

 

September 21, 2017 Inspectors arrested Jonuel Mojica, 25, of Hartford for driving with a suspended license after he was observed driving a wrecker to the Wethersfield inspection lane.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

September 18, 2017 Inspectors arrested Kazimierz Debinski, 49, of Plainville for operating a livery service without a permit.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

September 18, 2017 Inspectors arrested Pedro Ortiz, 30, of West Hartford for driving with a suspended license on I-91 in Windsor.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

September 13, 2017 Inspectors arrested Anthony Esposito, 43, of New Haven after he was stopped at the Waterford Scale for a truck inspection.  Esposito was taken into custody and turned over to Branford police after it was discovered that they held a warrant for his arrest.

 

September 12, 2017 Inspectors arrested Christopher Pio, 47, of Southington for insurance fraud.  Pio was arrested by warrant after Inspectors received complaints from insurance companies and consumers related to illegal towing and storage charges at Pio’s car dealerships, Chris’ Auto Clinic and Auto Star. Pio was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and will appear in Bristol Court on September 25th.

 

September 1, 2017 Inspectors arrested Gavier Figueroa, 48, of Waterbury for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop in Waterbury.  He was released on a WPTA.
