Please follow the steps below to replace a driver's license, learner's permit, motorcycle learner's permit, Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or non-driver photo ID.

What to do:

Proceed to any DMV office .
- Drivers' Licenses and non-driver IDs can also be replaced at AAA offices . All Commercial Drivers' Licenses and Learners' Permits must be processed at DMV.
Complete an Application for Duplicate of Current Driver's License or Permit (form 1-B).
If you are temporarily located out of state, please follow these instructions to replace your driver's license, non-driver ID or learner's permit through the mail.

Note: No new picture will be taken and your replacement will be printed using the image on file.

What to bring:

One acceptable form of identification. The ID can be from the "primary" or "secondary" list. NOTE: Photocopies will not be accepted.

What it will cost:

$30 to replace a driver's license, Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or non-driver photo ID.
$19 to replace a learner's permit.
$16 to replace a motorcycle learner's permit.
$2 convenience fee for AAA customers ONLY . Fee must be paid by cash or check (made payable to "AAA").
