When a motor vehicle operator has been convicted of failing to properly use a required child restraint device, Connecticut General Statute 14-100a(d), they are required to attend and successfully complete a Child Safety Course within sixty (60) days from the mailing date of the notification.

 

The course is approximately two (2) hours in length and is given at the following locations: 

 

 

Failure to complete the class will result in the suspension of the driver's license or driving privilege for a period of sixty (60) days.  The operator will be required to complete the class and pay the required restoration fee of $175.00 to restore the driver's license or driving privilege.
