Department of Social Services Mobile Office
The DSS Mobile Office is a computer-equipped bus operated by department staff, often in conjunction with the Department on Aging and CHOICES (Connecticut’s program for Health assistance, Outreach, Information and referral, Counseling and Eligibility Screening). The bus provides a range of services -- assistance with DSS ‘ConneCT’ online options, including customer ‘MyAccount’ setup and service eligibility screening; application assistance; onsite eligibility determination; Medicare Part D prescription drug assistance benefit enrollment assistance; and outreach services.
