The office also handles Freedom of Information Act compliance for the department.  While the great majority of news media requests for information are fulfilled without FOIA involvement, this avenue is also available.  FOIA requests may be made via email to david.dearborn@ct.gov, ccing sallie.kolreg@ct.gov (administrative assistant).
