Learn how to make the right business decisions regarding the inclusion of
original or pre-existing music in your film and what payments must be made
and rights cleared in each situation. The discussion will address the
structure of synchronization licenses, master use licenses, and performance
rights. Also, we will discuss the different structure of composer agreements
including work for hire agreement and different types of license agreements
depending on the budget of your project.
AIVF Producer's Series gives you the knowledge to help ensure the success of
your production. Aimed at early career and experienced producers, the
monthly series takes participants from A to Z, beginning with how to form a
production company through to distribution deals. Series host, entertainment
attorney/producers rep Innes Smolansky is joined by a panel of independent
film professionals, who share their experience and wisdom on to how to get
