DECD Human Resources 

The Human Resources Unit's core business functions include employment, job classification, affirmative action, wage and benefits administration, employee relations, contract administration, staff development and workplace safety.  In addition, the unit works with other State agencies, universities and community colleges, and community organizations in its efforts to develop and maintain a diverse workforce.
